Sustainability

We are committed to acting as a catalyst for sustainable growth.

Our products are designed with our impact, your impact, and your needs in mind. We do this by responsibly sourcing natural materials, by creating products that enable customers to reduce their footprint and by driving positive impacts through partnerships and programs.

Responsibly sourced
natural materials

Our chemistry is created from responsibly sourced plant-based feedstocks. We apply robust supply chain management and due diligence, which may include:

Setting Expectations

Our suppliers need to comply with P&G’s Forest Commodities Policy. This includes our expectations for No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation (NDPE). Learn more here.

02

Supply chain due diligence

We develop tailored supply chain assessment and monitoring for our feedstocks. For example, for Palm Oils this includes 98% traceability to Palm Oil Mill and always on satellite monitoring of 18.9+million Hectares of P&G Chemicals supplier landbanks in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Ongoing engagement

As part of our due diligence approach, we engage proactively with suppliers (to build resilient, compliant, and responsive supply chains) and with other stakeholders to identify and address risks. This includes following the P&G Forest Grievance Investigation Process where concerns are brought to us.

Creating products that enable
customers to reduce their footprint

We invest in our operations to help reduce our carbon footprint and develop materials that help you reduce your own footprint.

Reducing our footprint

In line with P&G Ambition 2040 we are focused on reducing our Scope 1 and 2 Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions in our manufacturing operations.
We are investing in our operations, improving our energy usage and upgrading our processes to help reduce our carbon footprint.

Developing materials with lower carbon footprints

Our products are derived from responsibly sourced bio-based feedstocks. These offer an ideal alternative to fossil-based materials.
Through a combination of technical, manufacturing and feedstock selection expertise we are able to offer a range of options, including carbon negative solutions (from cradle to gate, including biogenic uptake).

Our Programs

We work with partners and communities on eco-system and social programs in the regions that we source materials, including our Smallholder Program and RIMBA Collective.

Smallholder
Program

In 2015 we established our Smallholder Program and the P&G Center for Sustainable Small-owners (CSS) in Johor Malaysia in collaboration with the Asia School of Business. Our program helps our smallholder partners and their communities to realize livelihood improvement and drive their sustainable agriculture journey.
