AGE, or Alkyl Glycidyl Ether, is an ether and epoxide that is manufactured by reacting P&G Chemicals’ mid cut natural alcohol with epichlorohydrin. It is produced at our Kansas City Plant (Kansas City, Kansas, USA). AGE is typically used in resins, epoxies, and as a base in many coating and painting applications. It is an effective paint thinner and paint remover with an environmentally friendly profile.
AGS, or Alkyl Glyceryl Sulphonate, is an ether that is manufactured as a 47.5% paste active with excellent hard water tolerance. AGS is a mild surfactant that will not leave a residue. It is produced exclusively at our Kansas City Plant (Kansas City, Kansas). AGS is typically used in personal care applications.
